Het IJburg College 2 is een ambitieuze en uitdagende school. Het is onze ambitie om alle leerlingen zoveel mogelijk te laten leren: in een leergemeenschap, over zichzelf en de wereld om hen heen. Dit doen we door leerlingen samen te laten werken aan vakoverstijgende projecten en grote eindopdrachten. Zo krijgt het leren meer betekenis, ontwikkel je kritisch denkvermogen en leer je onderzoeken en problemen oplossen. Omdat je het beste leert in een veilige omgeving zit je in een deelschool met 150-175 leerlingen en een vast docententeam. Je hebt elke dag contact met jouw mentor en hij/zij geeft je feedback op je leerproces. Hierdoor ontdek je welke kwaliteiten je bezit zodat je het beste uit jezelf kunt halen. Zo kun je jezelf verbeteren en trots zijn op jouw resultaten. We hebben een brede brugperiode van twee jaar, waardoor je de kans hebt om je te ontwikkelen op het niveau dat bij jou past.
