Op OBS De Toekomst wordt een kind gezien als persoon en als lerende leerling. Wij willen dat leerlingen zelf precies weten wat ze leren en wat de volgende stap wordt. Het leren is zichtbaar doordat we gebruik maken van de theorie van Hattie. Leren is ook bewegen, discussiëren, natuur, wereldoriëntatie en muziek. Bij ons leren de kinderen wat het is om een respectvolle en gelijkwaardige wereldburger te worden. De school is geen wereld op zich, we zijn onderdeel van een groter geheel. Zo werken we samen met de voorschool van Impuls en kennen we veel van onze leerlingen nog voordat ze naar de basisschool gaan.
