De school van de Amsterdamse Schoolvereniging voor Opvoeding en Onderwijs (ASVO) is een bijzonder neutrale basisschool aan het Frederiksplein in Amsterdam.
De school bestaat sinds 1954 als opvolger van de Wilhelmina Catharinaschool en werkt volgens twee verschillende onderwijsconcepten. Zes van onze klassen vormen onze Montessori-afdeling, 8 klassen onze reguliere afdeling, waar volgens het leerstofjaarklassensysteem gewerkt wordt.
Er zitten rond de 360 kinderen op onze school. De ouders van de school vormen onze schoolvereniging en uit hen wordt het bestuur gekozen. Wij vinden de gezamenlijkheid en de mogelijkheden voor de maximale ontplooiing van onze kinderen zeer belangrijk.
